Fade-to-Black Editing
Fade-to-black editing is directly inspired by the world of cinema.
It consists in connecting two sequences or sound objects by passing through silence.
A first sequence (or object) fades out to silence, and within that same silence (whose duration may vary) a second sequence (or object) gradually emerges.
