Crossfade Mixing

Crossfade mixing is a classic technique for linking sounds (and images!).

It involves making one sequence (or sound object) disappear while another gradually appears.

This process creates continuity in the writing despite the wide disparity of the sounds (shots or sequences) that follow one another.
